Navigating through today’s industry can be challenging. The FFTV combines forces with distinguished colleagues and leadingindustry executives, as well as industry educational facilities around the globe to provide guidance to emerging professionals, such as producers, investors, and filmmakers to maneuver safely through a complex industry.
Our team speaks and teaches at Universities and educational institutions, film festivals and various other industry events around the globe. The Executive producer and financier Jeanette B. Milio teaches Entertainment Financing in the UCLA’s Entertainment Studies program, which is part of UCLA Extension’s renowned Entertainment Masters degree program. Mrs. Milio has been working in film and television production and financing for the last 20 years. She was one of the initiators of Winston Bakers Film Finance Forum in Zurich, she is an honorary member and speaker at the Cannes Film Festival Marche du Film Producers Network as well as a frequent speaker at Variety’s Media summits. Jim Milio, an Emmy Award and Peoples Choice Award winning writer, director, and producer who has realized hundreds of hours of globally successful film and television content teaches the UCLAx’s seminars “The Business of Entertainment” and “Direct and Produce Reality and Documentary Television”. The Milio’s are joined by many of their distinguished colleagues who support them as guest speakers.
The team continuously expands the Film Finance TV Interview Series capturing interviews with leading professionals of the Hollywood industry, who graciously share their vast knowledge and offer valuable guidance, in managing today’s challenging and ever-changing industry (series sneak preview ).
The Alliance Cinema Institute offers grants and opportunities to realize their projects to talented and deserving emerging filmmakers from the US and Europe who study at renowned institutions such as UCLA , Los Angeles, Serial Eyes, Berlin. IFS Internations Film School Cologne, among other institutions.
FFTV offers recommendations to other educational industry events such as the American Film Market Conference, Santa Monica the Producers Guild of America Conference, Hollywood, the Digital Hollywood conference, Los Angels the Winston Baker conferences among others, to support the mutual goal of education and elevating emerging professional.
FFTV’s course, seminars, workshops and coaching are not only geared to further industry professionals, such as filmmakers, writers, directors, producers, network and studio executives, but are also and especially designed to educate investors, who either have made an investment in media, which they wish to recoup, and/or are thinking about investing in film and television content.
